VRMark Basic Edition

VRMark Basic Edition

VRMark Basic Edition — virtual reality test that assesses the willingness of a personal computer.

The power of system resources and hardware capabilities is determined in two stages. First of all, it is important to overcome the Orange Room bar that drives the PC for recommended and even minimal system requirements. If the frames per second (FPS) when checking more than the minimum set and high resolution is supported (from HD to Full HD), then the world of modern technologies will not become a hindrance.

The second test, the Blue Room, is much more important for advanced systems, because it creates the maximum load on a personal computer and verifies the possibility of running VR on extremely high graphics settings.

Features of VRMark Basic Edition for Windows

Tests are conducted without the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. The results are output in different formats — the total numerical score, several graphs and diagrams, a short text message telling how much of the PC is ready to launch the virtual reality. On the official site of VRMark Basic Edition, a special comparison table is available, where it is allowed to measure against friends or reference assembly variants.
