Ramadan is an app dedicated to Muslims around the world! This calendar lists the times for prayer, suhoor and iftar, as well as other useful information during this holy month.

Basic functions of Ramadan

  • Check out the exact Suhoor and Iftar times. Adjust the schedule by adding or subtracting minutes.
  • Calculate the times of the five Islamic prayers (fajr, zuhr, asr, maghrib and isha) according to your geographic location (eg New York, USA) and local method. If necessary, adjust the schedules by selecting the calculation method and settings used in your mosque.
  • Find your location manually using a search engine, or automatically using GPS and an Internet connection.
  • Learn the 99 names of Allah (Asma ul Husna) mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (sas). Ramadan includes audio recitations, transliterations and translations for ease of understanding and learning.
  • Receive automatic notifications so you don’t miss the start and end of a post.
  • Wake up every day before Suhoor time.
  • Get the Islamic calendar. Adjust the Hijri date according to the Gregorian calendar.
  • Read authentic duas during the month of Ramadan. The supplications are taken from the book “Khisnul Muslim” (Muslim’s Fortress).
  • Prepare for fasting by reading the guide. It lists some general rules about what is allowed and what is not.
  • Remember the number of days you missed so you can catch up later.
